Every Saturday at Noon

Come to our Brookline Studio and over the course of 45 minutes you’ll: 

  • Warm up with a series of movements that will build energy, get your blood flowing, and get your muscles moving. Then 
  • Gentle Boabom will incorporate movements to stretch, elongate, relax and build coordination in conjunction with a calm, centered energy. We transition to 
  • Faster Boabom, which uses stronger movements of defense and energy, and finally 
  • We close with a simple yet effective meditation that anyone can do, even if you’ve had trouble meditating before
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing. No experience necessary!

Boabom is an art of Relaxation, Meditation, and Defense with roots in ancient Tibet. Taught progressively, without contact or competition, Boabom combines breathwork with moving meditation to help us reduce stress, increase energy, and build our strength and health.

In this intro class you’ll have a chance to experience the Boston School of Boabom, meet our teachers, and get a taste of this unique art. You’ll breathe, stretch, and learn a few fundamental exercises that will help you feel less stressed and more energized.

The Boston School of Boabom address is 33A Harvard Street #201, in Brookline. It’s easily accessible from the Green D and E lines as well as the 66 bus. Located near Route 9 and Beacon Street, there’s plenty of on-street parking along with nearby municipal lots.
